Observational Poems

This category of poems are ones in which reflect on some of life's greatest mysteries. Love, hope, and family are all necessities in everybody's lives, but sometimes we lose them for reasons out of our control. As you read these poems, it may be helpful to reflect on your own life and be grateful for what you have.

Where Did My Hope Go?

In this read, John creates a different kind of sentiment, one in which inspires the youth of the nation and uplifts those going through tough times. A time in which you can feel depressed. A time in which you feel lost. A time in which you ask yourself, "Where Did My Hope Go?"

Dinner On Main Street

This is John Wilks Lincoln's most serious poem, describing the harms of domestic violence. He also writes about how love can be found in the worst situations if we choose to look for it. I will keep this note short, hoping that you (the reader) enjoy Dinner on Main Street.

Tomorrow's Another Day

One person, though you may think they are your end all be all, can disappear at any moment. Please find the people in your life who are important and cherish them. Follow John as he brings you through a journey of love and listen to the message beneath the words. Please enjoy "Tomorrow's Another Day."

Saving Tracy Davis

John Wilkes Lincoln dives into the modern world with his sensational new poem. After taking a break on classical rhyming poetry, John dives back in right where he started, highlighting real-world issues that must be resolved. John wants all of his readers to practice loving safely and teaches young boys and girls to avoid the scary people wearing leather clothing in the alleyways.
