This poem is a life story, relaying things from my own life into a poem. This one is near and dear to my heart, and to my wife's. This is my life's story, one in which I am grateful for. John's inspiration for this poem was the incredible journey a newborn takes that changes the lives of everyone fortunate enough to love. The metaphors of love are like climbing a peak, though some steps may be tricky, you will find a way to prevail.

Worlds Collide
John Wilkes Lincoln brings a new perspective on the relationship between Stella and Alex in his new poem. E. E. Cummings has been an inspiration on modern day poetry, providing expertise and imagination that flowed flawlessly from pen to paper. John Wilkes Lincoln recreates a poem using the same style as cummings himself. John attempted to make the reader understand the logic of the poem just as closely as one can understand one of e. e. cummings.
